Lizzie Buckmaster Dove is an Australian artist and writer of Anglo-Celtic descent, living and working on Wadi Wadi Country in Wollongong and Yuin Country in Manyana, New South Wales. Her practice engages with sense of place, recognising the entanglement of humans and the more-than-human. Lizzie works across mediums & embodied practice including writing, photography, sculpture, installation, walking and swimming. In 2025 Lizzie received a Master of Philosophy from the University of Wollongong in Creative Arts and Human Geography for research concerning the ethics walking with Country as a non-Indigenous Australian, guided by Wadi Wadi Elder Dr Aunty Barbara Nicholson and Yuin Knowledge Holder Dr Anthony McKnight.
